Basic Dreamforge Information

There are two series you must complete in order to craft on the Dreameforge Alter.  The first is the Inspired Quarter Series (Mindsunder), the second is the Dreaming Dark Series.  Both of these series are found in the Northern Harbor area.

Inspired Quarter

The items you can upgrade are found at the end of the Mindsunder quest.  In order to get the Mindsunder quest, you must complete a series of quests prior to it.  They are:

Dream Conspiracy
Finding The Path
Shipwrecked Spy
I Dream of Jeets (Must Complete: Dream Conspiracy, Finding The Path, Shipwrecked Spy to obtain)

The craftable items you are looking for, drop in an extra chest at the end of Mindsunder.  In order to get this chest, you must get 4 Special Discs in the Pre-Flag quests above.

Obtaining The Discs

At the end of each of the Pre-Flag quests for Mindsunder, there is a chance of obtaining either a Disc, or Shard of a specific Color.  Specific quests drop specific colors.  They Are:

Shard/Disc of Phantasms (BLUE) - Dream Conspiracy
Shard/Disc of Nightmares (RED) - Finding The Path
Shard/Disc of Torment (YELLOW) - Shipwrecked Spy
Shard/Disc of Horrors (GREEN) - I Dream Of Jeets

Discs are the required item at the end of Mindsunder to get the extra chest.  Shards can be turned into Discs by placing three of the same color shard, onto an Eldrich Alter (Found in the Market Place or Outside the Twelve Tower), and mixing Magically.

After you have completed Mindsunder, you will see the 4 color receptacles on the wall.  Place 1 Disc of each color into them, and the extra chest, that has a chance to drop a craftable item, will appear.  Below is the list of items that can be obtained:

Dreaming Dark

You must again finish a series of quests to gain access to The Dreaming Dark quest, where the crafting takes place:

Eye of the Titan - Found in the Inspired Quarter.  This gives you access to the "Isle of Forgotten Dreams" where the rest of the quests reside
Reclaiming Memories - (Must Complete Eye of the Titan)
Mining for Ancient Secrets - (Must Complete Eye of the Titan)
Raiding The Giant's Vault - OPTIONAL SOLO ONLY (This is if you do not want to do the group based "Mining for Ancient Secrets"
The Dreaming Dark (Must Complete Reclaiming Memories & Mining for Ancient Secrets)

 In order to craft at the end of "The Dreaming Dark", you must obtain "Essences" from each of the Pre-Flag quests.

Obtaining The Essences

At the end of each of the Pre-Flag quests for "The Dreaming Dark", there is a chance of obtaining Essences of a specific Color.  Specific quests drop specific colors.  They Are:

Essence of Nightmare (RED) - Eye of The Titan
Essence of Phantasms (BLUE) - Reclaiming Memories
Essence of Torment (YELLOW) - Mining for Ancient Secrets OR Raiding the Giant's Vault (SOLO ONLY)
Essence of Horrors (GREEN) - Eye of The Titan, Reclaiming Memories, Mining for Ancient Secrets, Raiding the Giant's Vault (Lower Chance than the others, but drops in all pre-flag quests).

Crafting Your Item

You must complete "The Dreaming Dark" quest in order to craft, as the "Dreamforge Alter" resides in the quest itself.  It is in the same room as the end boss fight, and will become available for use after defeating the boss.

You must obtain 6 of each of the Essences, for a total of 24.  There is two ways to combine these Essences into the required Crystal Disk of Dreams which is used in the crafting:

If you place one of each color Essence into the Dreamforge Alter, and Mix Magically, it will create a single Crystal Shard of Dreams.  Do this 6 times to obtain 6 Crystal Shard of Dreams.  Then Place the 6 Crystal Shard of Dreams into the Dreamforge Alter, Mix Magically, and you will obtain 1 Crystal Disk of Dreams.
If you place a stack of 6 of each color Essence on the Dreamforge Alter (All 24 Essences you obtained), and Mix Magically, it will skip the Shard process, and create 1 Crystal Disk of Dreams
Now that you have your Crystal Disk of Dreams, place that, along with the Item with Supressed Power obtained in the Mindsunder quest on the Dreameforge Alter, and Mix Magically.  Your item is now Crafted and the Supressed Power is unlocked.

Rahl's Might Supressed Power depends on what the item had on it prior to upgrading.
